Hello,

I am Dror Avner, an industrial designer, inventor, and founder of Gyra Studio, based in Berlin.

For more than 20 years, my work has moved through product development, prototyping, industrial systems, and IP-driven design, from wind-turbine components and technical products to independent invention and hands-on research.

Today my focus is Gyra Studio, a kinetic lab for embodied motion. Through Gyra Studio, I am developing analog motion tools and related formats across product, practice, education, research, and installations.

My current project, Gyra, is a hand-held kinetic instrument developed through independent research, extensive prototyping, user testing, and patent work. It brings together my long interest in objects, movement, mechanisms, and human physical experience.
